This division, which is based close to LAX, CA, handles the rental of ground support equipment to the aviation industry all over the world. Our large inventory of in-stock equipment available for long term rent allows us to offer start-up operations and ground handlers the right equipment for any aircraft at very affordable rates.

Zero Time Rebuilding / Equipment Refurbishing
Do you love the look and feel of new equipment? Working with new equipment can have a big impact on the performance and quality and we do our part to try and give you the best refurbishing options possible.
We offer the option to refurbish equipment to “like new” condition, often stripping units down to the frame and re-assembling them. The process can often double the machine’s service life and help you with your ground support productivity.
In some cases, the option to refurbish equipment is absolutely necessary. New air quality requirements in the US will necessitate upgrading our gas and diesel fleet to Tier-II and Tier-III, a service we offer to all our customers.
As with all our products, we guarantee the quality and timeliness of our service refurbishing your equipment. Our goal with refurbishing is to help you save money and be more productive with the equipment you already have.
GSE Leasing and Financing
Mercury GSE offers long-term and short-term financing options on all GSE equipment. Leasing equipment allows you to acquire assets with minimal initial expenditures. Because equipment leases rarely require a down payment, you can obtain the goods you need without significantly affecting your cash flow.
We offer 24 – 84 month capital and operating lease programs with new and zero-time equipment. This includes full market value and renewal options. This allows you to recapitalize sale leasebacks and refresh your equipment.
Going Green
“Going Green” means doing our part to help the environment improve. At Mercury, we believe in being responsible and respectful by developing practices and procedures to minimize our carbon footprint on the environment.
Mercury GSE is continually searching for new and innovative environmentally-friendly alternatives. Currently we are presenting to the Department of Airports and Airlines at LAX the availability of a new “robotic” towbarless tractor called the “Taxibot”. This tractor would decrease emissions by 84% for each narrow body tow from the gate to the end of the runway. This could result in annual savings of over 83,000 tons of CO2, 33,000 tons of H20 and 373 tons of NOx.
